This is a great diary entry! What an amazing afternoon, is this a real story or did you make it up?
I like how you included so many of your own thoughts in this story. It helped me to understand how you felt and, as a reader, I felt like I was fishing too! Do you go fishing with with your family often? It sounds like you really know what you’re talking about.
I think you have done an excellent job at writing your diary entry. Do you enjoy writing longer stories like this? I think you have quite a skill for storytelling.
