Have you heard about the water project? Well if have not heard about, the water project let me explain it to you. They are trying to produce,

clean water for people around the world like Africa, they have dirty water that might kill you.

Coding

We had Mr Kinane come and do some coding. We had to make a spiral. So I made a rainbow spiral.

This is what we did for art we did a calendar we made it look like we are falling into a portal have a look

Cave

This is what we did for reading a cave that joins up with another cave.

Haiku poem

This is my Haiku poem that I did. My whole class had to do it. We had to use syllables in it.

Reppeted addition and multiplication

  This is what we did in our maths groups I was with Frank, Xanthe. We did repeated addition and multiplication. Please watch this video.

We had to do a colour poem I choose red because it is my favourite colour.

Coding with Mr Kinane

Today we had Mr Kinane come and do some coding with us this is what I made this a star. Here is what I used to make the star.

Inside Ruma Tui, we were painting clowns. We had to draw it our clowns on a piece of paper.


We had an electric frypan and a muffin container to melt the crayons and turn it into wax so we could use it paint to clowns. We had the paintbrushes to match what paint it was going to be used for. It took a very long time for us to finish and they look pretty cool. You can only do 1 stroke before you had to put the paintbrush back in.

First of all, we had to make a draft copy to make sure we will get them all good. Dark green, light green, black, light blue, red berry, orange, dark blue, purple, green, yellow, white, pink, aquatic and teal.

I think it is awesome because it is very cool and in like it.

Reflection

I like maths and PE because PE we have been playing soccer and it is fun to pass to our team mates and score.My team mates are Ben, Shae, Xanthe and Jed.

I like maths because it is a fun way to learn new stuff.

I am great at maths because I was here last year and mum and dad are testing me at home.

I think I need to work on not getting distracted when others talk to me. I also need to not distract myself because I sometimes I don’t get my work done.

I loved this term because we made clowns and we are painting them.

I didn't like when people were distracting because they were talking to me.

Next time they talk to me I will tell them to shush.

    Today we have been learning about novice. Novice means a beginner at something.

Cross country

On Friday we had are cross country and we went to Mr Morrison's farm so we could do are cross country. We had a new area to start from and a new area to stay while the running was going. The order went year 6,5,2,1,3,4.Year 6,5 and 4 had to run 2 laps around the farm.Year 3,2 and 1 had to run 1 around the farm. Some of the year 4 students had the choice to go through the creek most of them went over the bridge, I went in the creek 2 it was fun. Cross country is about running a kilometre. I felt brilliant doing cross country because it's fun and you have a fun time doing it.

Vocab

We are learning about the word bolt. It means to run fast or an arrow.

This shape was made on Tynker. It took some time but it was fun.

I can't wait to have the guy who helped us out. It was fun the  challenges.
