It sound like you have come at the perfect time of year - I am not one for the cold weather so I think I would have to go at the warmest time of year too... and still bring plenty of layers!!
I like that you thought to bring a bird book so you could record what you could see, sometimes after a trip when you have seen so much it can be hard to remember! Did you have a favourite bird?
That's really cool you saw a baby polar bear too... I think they would be adorable but also frightening!haha
Hopefully you got to catch that salmon too? Do you like to go fishing at home as well?
