  1. Hi Leon

Do you know what inspired Mr Hackett to invent the bungee jumping? I heard that he tried out bungee jumping and got taken to court what do you feel about that? I like how you have added an image of him also a good description. Is there an age restriction in bungee jumping? If there is not have you tried it?

    Keep it up

    Molly :)

  2. Hi Leon,

Woo hoo, your final post for week 3 activities! I cannot wait to see you finish all the week 4 activities next week too!

It is awesome to see you have written some great information about AJ Hackett. It is great that you have also included that it wasn’t just AJ Hackett that invented the bungy. I like that you have mentioned that it was him, Henry Van Asch and some Auckland University scientists that developed it. I like that you have mentioned he helps people by encouraging them and giving them an opportunity to experience a rush of adrenaline in a safe way. I agree with this. He also helped people conquer their fears.

Did you know AJ Hackett was before starting this activity? Did you know, when I was a child, there was a neat TV show that I used to enjoy watching called “Can You Hackett?”. AJ Hackett was the host and ever week they would have different people in NZ face their fears such as bungy jumping to face their fear or heights. It was a great show!

Do you think you could do a bungy jump? I don’t think I could. I don’t like the idea of bouncing up and down, upside down!

Great work Leon. Until next time…
