This is the start of my time capsule letter for 50 years in the future my class is doing the same thing. My teacher has an old ammo box where we will put it at kaniere school and see how long it will take to be found by the next people who come to kaniere school
I am making a game from Scratch, a coding website. My game is called Faze Clicker it is not finished yet, it is still in the making. I will give you a little look at it so far but I do not want you to see the coding so here you are.
By the way, I have made it change the background by pressing the spacebar and the a key on the keyboard. You have to click the red faze logo. You will be able to buy stuff when I put it in the game. I will make it so you buy gaming pcs and faze members like Faze Rug. I hope it can be a good game that everyone can enjoy when it is done. Have you made a game on scratch before? #Faze clan. Term 2 art. For Ruma Kereru's art, we did research about Emily Carr, a Canadian artist who would paint trees. We painted our own ones we had two go's at it there is my first go. I like it a bit but I could do more leaves.
It was my first go and I tried to blend the colors but they did not blend too well. I added more trees to make it a little better and like a forest. I tried the best that I could. We had a second go but we did a sketch first so we knew what we were doing. Then we painted new ones for art this term. We sponged the backround with 3 or 2 paints then we pantined are trees with black paint.
Anzac day is a day where we remember the kiwis and Australians who went away to Gallipoli to fight. The kiwis were put in the wrong place, they were meant to be put on flat hill but instead, they were put in the wrong place and they had to scale hills that were not flat they had to climb chunuck bair and fight the Turks that were raining bullets from above. They were trying to claim the peninsula so they could get their ships through the dardinels so that they could get in and send their ships in to destroy the Otterman Empire. The newsletters were 3 months old when they got there.
do you know what happened in gallipoli
We had to do school swimming a while ago. I got first in all the events I entered into, these were what I entered. 100 meters freestyle, 50 backstroke, 50 breaststroke, 100 medley which consists of 1 length of, backstroke breaststroke, and freestyle, next I did 25 meters of everything.
From the school swimming, I qualified for the districts in all my events. From the districts, I am proud to say I made it through to the West Coast Champs which was held in Westport. I was lucky I qualified for the Canterbury swim meet again this year which is being held on Thursday the 8th of April. Hopefully, I will do well, wish me luck and watch this space for an update. Do you enjoy swimming as much as me?
